Sticker
A copy has been found with a white sticker with red print that measures 5″ x 3 7/16″ in size. This sticker is affixed to the shrinkwrap. Due to its size and the obtrusive nature of its positioning on the cover, it would be difficult to image that many of these stickers survived. The example, as seen in the latest Presleyana VII book, on this site is a combination of a couple of pictures, however, quite accurate. It is a generic sticker which may be found on other records by other artists reads:
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO RECORD BUYERS: This record is no longer available in mono. Improved recording methods and improved players make it practical to play stereo records on regular mono hi-fi phonographs. Recognizing this fact, most major record companies recently began issuing new releases in stereo only, or in limited mono quantities. THIS STEREO RECORD — WHICH COSTS NO MORE THAN MONO — IS GUARANTEED TO PLAY ON YOUR MONO PHONOGRAPH WITH COMPLETE SATISFACTION. If the pick-up cartridge on your phonograph is over 5 years old we recommend it be checked to assure longest life for stereo records.

Stickers: On shrink-wrap, may include, Saturn sticker on back with song titles (VPSX-6089-1), Quadradisc sticker on front cover (one of two sizes 2 1/16″ x 2 7/8″ or 2 1/4″ x 2 7/8″) (VPSX-6089-2), and/or Steamroller Blues (VPSX-6089-3) sticker. The Chicken of the Sea Sneak Preview sticker was only available for select Chicken of the Sea employees. The red sticker reads DELUXE (2) TWO RECORD SET.

The Quadradisc sticker variation of size was only recently discovered and brought to my attention by Robert Alaniz of Soundz Good Records. This sticker may be found in one of two sizes, 2 1/16″ x 2 7/8″ or 2 1/4″ x 2 7/8″. Though both exist, it seems that the smaller of the two stickers is significantly less common.

Disc: (1974) Orange label. Quadradisc vinyl. Blue vinyl.10

Recently discovered from the RCA pressing plant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This blue vinyl, experiment pressing features Side A / Side B of the two record set. According to the auction description, the blue vinyl experimental pressing was to sample each of two weights of vinyl. Rigid (will not bend) and Dynaflex (flexible). An extremely small number of this first disc (4748/4749) was discovered, pressed in both rigid & Dynaflex vinyl. A couple of examples of Side C / Side D are known to exist in Dynaflex only. The record was not issued with a cover, however a generic RCA Red Seal poly-lined inner sleeve. This example is on the cover Presleyana VII.10

This sold for $1,995.00 on August 1, 2012 on eBay. Another copy sold on eBay for $1,201.12 on April 8, 2014.12
